Laura Baxter is a designer and visual communications specialist working across brand systems, cultural programs and community-led projects. Her practice combines structured brand strategy with hands-on creative production, spanning digital campaigns, photography, exhibition communications and large-scale event identities.
She is the creator of Faces of Enmore, a council-funded photographic project documenting over 280 residents of Sydney’s Inner West. The work culminated in a public exhibition and live performance event, positioning design as a tool for connection and place-based storytelling.
Laura leads brand and visual communications for Australians in Film, shaping the identity of major industry initiatives including FUTURE VISION, a global television summit delivered in partnership with Screen Australia and VicScreen at ACMI. She developed the summit’s brand framework, digital presence and campaign rollout, establishing a cohesive visual system across web, print, social and live environments.
Across AiF’s artist development programs — including the Heath Ledger Scholarship, Untapped and the Emerging Producers Program — she builds clear, consistent visual languages that support Australian storytellers working internationally.
Based in Australia and working across global markets, Laura’s work is defined by clarity, structure and an understanding of how visual systems support people, institutions and creative communities.
